At the 2023 International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC), “Sato no Akebono Genshu” won a gold award and “Sato no Akebono Kurokoji” won a bronz award.

Founded in 1969 and held annually in London, England, IWSC is the world’s premier international liquor competition, where alcoholic beverages from around the world are evaluated by experts. Over 3,000 brands from over 90 countries entered into the 2022 competition.

“Sato no Akebono Genshu” has been awarded the gold medal at the IWSC for three consecutive years . All the employees are very pleased that our Amami kokuto shochu was thought of highly during the professional’s evaluation. We continue to strive to make kokuto shochu that will be recognized throughout the world.
